Reflections on a Point
A point of land. Lighthouse Point. A peninsula between the tight curve of Agate Bay and the longer shoreline toward Burlington Bay. The place between the two harbors. In an aerial photo, a shape something like a diamond.
A point of access. There are not many places outside the state parks for public access to Lake Superior, and what Two Harbors offers is a real jewel worth preserving.
A point in time. Part of the land has had buildings on it before. It has made a good comeback as a much-loved natural area. It can be a valuable part of attracting people to Two Harbors in the future.
Making a point. This is worth preserving. The "Jewel of the Shore - That's Our Point."
